Edibles Guide For Festivals in 2023

Pair the Perfect KANHA Gummy with the Best Festivals of 2023

When it comes to KANHA, we see our spirit in global gatherings like Holi in South Asia, experimental festivals like Burning Man and of course cannabis-related holidays like April 20 and July 10. Our appreciation for these creative artistic events can be felt in how we choose the flavors and cannabinoid content for each line of KANHA gummies. This should be a historic year for gatherings, so we put together an Edibles Guide For Festivals in 2023 in California, Nevada, Colorado, and Massachusetts – where you can purchase our award-winning gummies.

Electric Daisy Carnival + Indica Strawberry

Las Vegas, Nevada

May 19 to 21

Electric Daisy Carnival at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is considered the largest EDM festival in North America. Now in its 32nd year, EDC 2023 will feature the likes of Tiësto, Alesso, Ganja White Night, Armin Van Buuren, Kaskade Redux, and many others. This festival is a classic, so why not pair it with a KANHA classic like Indica Strawberry, available in both Nevada and California?

Cali Vibes + Hybrid Watermelon

Long Beach, California

February 17 to 19

Marina Green Park in Long Beach will play host to three days of edible-friendly vibrations, including sets by Jack Johnson, Rebelution, Dirty Heads, Slightly Stoopid, Damian Marley, 311, Stephen Marley, and others. Sure, watermelon is a summer flavor, but the SoCal sunshine can even make the winter months feel the sweet summertime.

Beyond Wonderland + Sativa Cherry

San Bernardino, California

March 24 to 25

Costumes, dance music and an Alice in Wonderland theme make this an ideal fest to spring into the new season. The two-day event, held at the Nos Events Center, has yet to announce the 2023 lineup, but last year’s party included Pretty Pink, and Above & Beyond. Lewis Carroll prominently featured food and drink in his 1865 classic, including a cherry tart flavor in the Drink Me bottle. Naturally, the pairing of choice here has to be our Sativa Cherry.

Lightning in a Bottle + BaNano

Kern County, California

May 24 to 29

Make this Memorial Day weekend more memorable with a five-night art, music, yoga, and camping festival at Buena Vista Lake near Bakersfield. The lineup will be announced sometime in January, but past performers include Bomba Estéreo, Jamie XX, and others. Waterside music calls for something sweet and tropical, so pair your festival experience with a limited-edition BaNano, featuring Liquid Diamonds live resin and indica-leaning Blue Banana OG.

Coachella + Sativa Pineapple

April 14 to 16 and 21 to 23

Know it. Love it. Always wanna go. The recently announced lineup will be a huge draw for music fans everywhere, as will the art installations and environmental initiatives by Global Inheritance, a Coachella regular now for 20 years. This high-energy fest requires focus and stamina to enjoy it to the fullest, so go with an uplifting Sativa Pineapple.

BottleRock Napa Valley + NANO Galactic Grape

Napa Valley, California

May 26 to 28

Northern California is famed for wine, food, smoke, and all three pleasures (two of them officially) that come together at the annual BottleRock festival. The lineups for the music and culinary stages have yet to be announced, but past artists and chefs include Kygo, Snoop Dogg, Halsey, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, Martha Stewart, and others. As a wine-forward fest in Napa, the obvious flavor pairing has to be our fast-acting Galactic Grape.

Contact in the Desert + Hybrid Lychee

Indian Wells, California

June 2023

Speaking of the surreal, there may be no more perfect pairing than listening to earnest UFO and alien stories while enjoying KANHA gummies. Contact in the Desert is arguably the top U.S. gathering to discuss UFO sightings, ancient astronauts, crop circles, and extraterrestrial life. Seriously, what gummy wouldn’t pair well with an event like this, we’re going to roll with the limited-edition Lychee because there aren’t many fruits that look more alien than lychee.

Northern Nights + NANO Tangerine Twist

Piercy, California

July 14 to 16

Northern Nights claims a sweet location in a campground next to Humboldt and Mendocino counties, which allows attendees to swim and tube in the Eel River, wander through a towering Redwood forest, and smoke lots of local plant life. An event like this requires a fast-acting NANO gummy, and what better flavor than Tangerine Twist, a citrus fruit that takes its name from Tangier, Morocco.

San Francisco Pride + CBG Harmony

San Francisco, California

June 24 to 25

In June 1970, about 30 people marched down Polk Street to City Hall, followed the next day by a “gay-in” at Golden Gate Park. This march quickly turned into an annual event that’s considered the nation’s largest gathering of LGBTQIA+ individuals and their supporters. This year’s parade theme celebrates Looking Back and Moving Forward. In this spirit, we recommend GBG Harmony, which features 20mg of CBG and 10mg of THC in each acai blueberry-flavor gummy.

Global Dance + Sublime Key Lime

Denver, Colorado

July 14 to 15

The immersive festival, taking place at Empower Field at Mile High, features a mix of house, techno, trap, bass, and other dance music. Think food trucks, rides, costumes, art installations, and even a mechanical bull. The action moves fast, so go with a rapid-onset gummy like our NANO Sublime Key Lime.

Outside Lands + Fuego Fruit Cup

San Francisco, California

August 11 to 13

KANHA loves to see Outside Lands – the country’s largest independently owned music festival – continue to go strong. Past lineups include the likes of The Weeknd, and Future, while the culinary lineup has included Ayesha Curry and the Michelin-starred chefs from Rich Table. In the spirit of the culinary craft, go with a spicy limited-edition Fuego Fruit Cup. It pays tribute to the beloved fruit vendors of East Los Angeles.

Hard Summer + Hybrid Peach

San Bernardino, California

August 2023

The lineup and dates have yet to be announced, but recent participating artists include the likes of Alison Wonderland, Porter Robinson, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lil Uzi Vert. Music lovers hitting the Speedway in Fontana should go with a local flavor, Hybrid Peach, as the delicious stone fruit is particularly popular among local county farms.

Burning Man + Cran-Pomegranate Punch

August 27 to September 4

Black Rock City, Nevada

The original Burning Man took place 37 years ago as a free event on Baker Beach in San Francisco. The annual event moved to Black Rock in 1991 and grew from about 250 people to 23,000 in under 8 years. These days, more than 70,000 Burners attend the iconic gathering. This year’s theme, ANIMALIA, pays tribute to the animal world and our place in it. Cranberries are especially popular with birds and animals, making Cran-Pomegranate Punch a perfect pairing for the playa.

Desert Daze + Sour Strawberry Lemonade Belt

Lake Perris, California

October 12 to 15

The LA Times once said Desert Daze is “no Coachella, but this… festival may be the music model of the future.” Inspired by 1960s music fests, the four-day event is a camping, swimming, and music extravaganza with lineups like My Bloody Valentine, and Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats. Desert Daze also hosts a Mystic Bazaar with sound baths, shamanic ceremonies, plant walks, yoga, and mystics. The fest rules say you can bring cannabis, so maybe go large with the Sour Strawberry Lemonade Belt, featuring 50mg of THC per belt.
