Beware of “KANHA” Imposters!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but fraud is just plain lame.

Last week, we came across two websites that claimed to be us and offered nationwide shipping. We already got the imposter sites shut down, but this is a good opportunity to remind everyone that our only official websites are kanhatreats.com and the newly launched kanhahemp.com

A few other important points to make:

  • KANHA gummies are exclusively available through our website, dispensaries and delivery services
  • We don’t sell direct to consumers, though this tool can help you find our products
  • Our current retail markets are California, Nevada, Massachusetts and Canada
  • Upcoming new markets include Illinois and Thailand for late 2023
  • Our new KANHA Hemp line is coming soon to legal states where KANHA is not yet available

We want to send out a huge thanks to everyone in the KANHA community who let us know about the imposter sites. Thank you for having our back, as we promise to always have yours.

So, what’s up with these imposter sites?

They’re fraudsters, and the risks of engaging them can be significant. If they’re simply trying to make a quick buck using our name, you can assume the fake “KANHA” gummies are loaded with pesticides, solvents and other contaminants that are bad for your health. You can also expect dosage levels to be all over the place, which can lead to overconsumption and adverse effects. We invest a lot of resources into making clean, safe, great-tasting gummies with precision dosage, but short-lived imposter sites have no incentive to make such investments.

The risks could be higher, however, if the primary goal is to collect personal information like credit card numbers, bank accounts, home addresses and bitcoin wallets. This type of illicit data collection can lead to more profitable fraud at the expense of the consumer.

Unfortunately, imposter sites are not an uncommon occurrence. You should always make sure you’re visiting the official site of any brand, especially if it offers direct sales and shipping to states that haven’t legalized recreational or MMJ use. To confirm a proper website address, you can typically cross-check the info on a brand’s social media accounts or on the packaging of products bought from a reputable dispensary.

As for KANHA, we welcome you to follow us on social media and bookmark our official site in your browser to keep up with the latest product announcements and blog posts. This way you’ll always know you’re in the right place.

Thank you for being part of the KANHA community.
