What Is Nature’s Glow: The Secret Inside Our New Crunchy Belts

This Halloween, we introduced Crunchy Belts, the newest addition to our Solventless Rosin Belt family, with a trick you can only see under a UV Light.

Meet Crunchy Belts

We just launched a limited edition Halloween product, Sinister Sour Apple Crunchy Belts, the belts that bite back. This Haunted Hybrid strain is made with the same fast acting technology and 100% solventless rosin you already trust. Learn more about how our rosin is made here!

Just like our Solventless Rosin Belts, each package contains four belts, clearly divided into 5mg segments, for a total of 25mg of THC per belt and 100mg of THC per package. What’s new is the added crunch, from a purple-and-black sugar crystal layer on top of the UV-reactive belt body. Yes, that’s right, the belt itself glows a bright, otherworldly green-yellow under a blacklight, using natural plant pigments instead of synthetic dye.

What Is Nature’s Glow

We call this Nature’s Glow, real fluorescence chemistry built from natural pigments that are already common, approved food ingredients, with zero synthetic dye involved. The glow kicks in the instant that the UV lights hits, and fades away once the light’s gone, providing a fun magical effect perfect for the Halloween season.

How It Works (and Why It’s Natural)

Three pigments make it happen, all sourced from things probably sitting in your kitchen:

  1. Curcumin (from turmeric root) → glows bright yellow
It’s the same pigment that gives turmeric its color. Under UV light, it absorbs the light and releases it back as a yellow-green glow. It’s also already an approved food colorant (E100).
  1. Chlorophyll (from spinach, parsley, kale) → glows deep red
This is the same pigment that powers photosynthesis in plants. Its structure is related to the same family as heme in blood, and under UV light, it releases a deep red glow.
  1. Phycocyanin (from spirulina, blue-green algae) → glows vivid cyan
This is the natural blue pigment in spirulina. Its structure naturally catches light, producing a bright cyan glow under UV, with no additives needed.

Mixed into the belt’s gelatin base, the three pigments combine to create that green-yellow glow, while the purple-and-black crunch layer on top is colored separately and stays dark.

Want to see it yourself?

Grab any handheld UV flashlight, like the ones used to read invisible ink, dim the room, and hold the light about 6 inches from the belt. The glow hits instantly, and disappears just as fast, and so does this limited time product.

Crunchy Belts are only around for a short window of time: September 1st through October 31st, 2026.

Find your local dispensary with our store locator here or order online at eaze.com before they disappear.
